Les Nuits MED à Cannes
Le 19 mai
Les Nuits Méditerranéennes, festival dédié au court-métrage méditerranéen, feront leur grand retour à Cannes le 19 mai pour annoncer la prochaine édition qui se tiendra en Corse, à Furiani à partir du 2 juin, puis au Régent à Bastia jusqu’au 6 juin. Cet événement est organisé en partenariat avec France Télévisions, la Collectivité de Corse, le CNC, Quattrocento, Images Dotation, Air Corsica, COOPMED, Télé Paese, ici RCFM, Allindi, ici, RCFM, les Vins Mlle D, le Champagne Besserat de Bellefon, la Brasserie Pietra, Socobo, l’hotel Posta Vecchia et de nombreux autres partenaires.
À l’occasion de la 78e édition du plus grand festival de cinéma au monde, la journée du 19 mai, orchestrée par la Diffusion KVA, sera riche en événements dédiés aux 18es Nuits MED et à ses partenaires. Le premier rendez-vous mettra en avant une sélection de courts-métrages réalisés en partie sur l’île de Beauté, avec une projection spéciale intitulée CORSICA, prévue en matinée à 11h30 au Palais des Festivals (Palais F), dans le cadre du Marché International du Film de Cannes.
D’autres temps forts suivront, notamment l’annonce officielle des cinq lauréats de la 14e résidence MED IN SCENARIO de France Télévisions, sous la direction du cinéma, des fictions internationales et des jeunes adultes. La présentation des lauréats de la 4e résidence COURTS ENTRE 2 RIVES sera également au programme, mettant en lumière leurs projets qui traverseront la Méditerranée de juin à octobre en collaboration avec France 3 Corse ViaStella et Télé Paese.
Les Nuits MED continueront à se déployer, avec des projections prévues cet été à Carqueiranne.
Et Le 19 mai dans l’après-midi, notre partenaire officiel Quattrocento mettra en lumière ses lauréats de la 2e résidence, axée sur l’intention scénaristique du 5e festival de La Lune. Par ailleurs, le cinéma Le Grand Action accueillera des reprises, avant un nouveau passage à Barcelone, à Mecal Factory pour la clôture.

Les Nuits MED and Corsica back on the Croisette
The Mediterranean Nights, a festival dedicated to Mediterranean short films, will make its grand return to Cannes on May 19 to announce the upcoming edition, which will take place in Corsica, in Furiani starting June 2, and then at the Régent in Bastia until June 6. This event is organized in partnership with France Télévisions, the Collectivité de Corse, the CNC, Quattrocento, Images Dotation, Air Corsica, COOPMED, ici RCFM, Télé Paese, Allindi, the Wines of Mlle D, Champagne Besserat de Bellefon, Brasserie Pietra, Socobo, the Posta Vecchia hotel, and many other partners.
On the occasion of the 77th edition of the world’s largest film festival, the day of May 19, orchestrated by Diffusion KVA, will be rich in events dedicated to the 18th Mediterranean Nights and its partners. The first meeting will highlight a selection of short films partially made on the island of Beauty, with a special screening titled CORSICA scheduled for the morning at 11:30 AM at the Palais des Festivals (Palais F), as part of the Cannes International Film Market.
Other highlights will follow, including the official announcement of the five winners of the 14th MED IN SCENARIO residency organized by France Télévisions, under the direction of cinema, international fiction, and young adults. The presentation of the winners of the 4th COURTS ENTRE 2 RIVES residency will also be on the agenda, showcasing their projects that will cross the Mediterranean from June to October in collaboration with France 3 Corse ViaStella and Télé Paese.
The Mediterranean Nights will continue to expand, with screenings planned this summer in Carqueiranne. Additionally, on the afternoon of May 19, our official partner Quattrocento will highlight its winners from the 2nd residency, focused on the screenplay intention of the 5th La Lune festival. Furthermore, the cinema Le Grand Action will host re-screenings before a new stop in Barcelona at Mecal Factory for the closing event.
Alix Ferraris and part of the team from the 18th Mediterranean Nights will be present in Cannes starting May 14, the opening date of the opening’s Cannes Festival.
